I am not being facetious. The question of who is Jerry McNerney is one of the keys to understanding the 11th CD race in CA. The overwhelming flood of negative advertising in this race, both from Pombo and organization like the Defenders of Wildlife against Pombo, make it almost impossible to define yourself. Others are too busy defining you to the public.
